Default Full PHOTOSHOP sig tutorial

By: XIII

In this tutorial, I will show you how to make something like this.

This is my Full Sig. Tutorial. Made specially for the members here at UnKnoWnCheaTs and UnKnoWnClaN

[www.unknowncheats.com www.unknownclan.cjb.net]

1. Start a new photoshop document at 400x125 pixels

2. On your background layer, select the paintbucket and the background with black. Next select some brushes (find some off www.diventart). Next start brushing the background with WHITE. After that, make a new layer(ctrl+shift+n) and brush with black. You should get something like this-

3. Repete the 2nd step till you get something you like.

4. Open a render(image) you want to put into the sig. Click the image once its open in photoshop, and go to edit>transform>scale. Make the size of it to something you think would fit well.

5. Copy the image from the picture you just resized, and paste it into the sig(if it dident have a transparent background, dont worry about it). A new layer should be made with the image on it, now.

6. Next, select the lasso tool and go around your image(the parts you want blended in[such as corners, and random parts] should NOT be selected.

7. go to select>feather

8. put the feather to 20-30 pixels, whichever you prefer.

9. the lasso should have gotten smaller, and smoother. Next, select the "Add Layermask" button.

10. Your image should now be blended in more. You can take a non thick eraser
tool(not a solid one) and go over the parts you want blended in more. This is what I got so far.

11. Go the the Half black, half white circle on the bottom of the layer palet, and click on Color Balance

12. Now move the bar to whatever you think looks nice. make sure to use shadows and highlites aswell as midtones. (I have a selected image in mine, i did not colorize the flag)

13. Now add your text. Double click the text layer and it should open blending options. Click drop shadow, and inner shadow and leave it on the default values. Next go to Bevel & Emboss and input these settings -

14. Now go to Stroke and do these ->

15. Now, add a color balance,a nd put whatever color you want. I chose a blue. OPTIONAL-->
Change the opacity on the color balance to a lower number.

16. OPTIONAL-> This works if you did the above optional. Go to the 1st option (Should say Blending options: default) and change the blend mode to overlay. Your image should now be more or less transparent, but still hold color.

17. Make a new layer, and press Ctrl+a. Next go to edit> stroke

18. make it 1px and black[or any other color]. That is your basic border.
OPTIONAL BORDER-

19. double click the layer with the border on it, and add the following stroke ->

20. Now go to the "Blending options: Default" again, and change the fill to 0.

There, you just made yourself a nice sig!
I did a bit extra on mine, but this is my outcome->
