Default [Updated] Over Clocking Guide

Credits to zervic for the post

I'm looking for a BEGINNERS guide to overclocking my gfx card...I can't find anything worth looking at through google, so I'm seeing if anyone on here has any decent links. I have BFG Tech 9800GTX...

Thanks =)

Edit: Here is something I found, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet seeing as I'm at work, but still interested in what anyone else can find...

The program is "coolbits" and from my understanding it's already in your system, just probably isn't enabled...so, to enable it:

Step 1. Click on your Start Menu in the Windows Task Bar and select Run. When the command box opens, type "regedit" (without the quotes) and press OK. With the registry editor open (shown below), go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \NVIDIA Corporation \Global \NVTweak (expand the menu using the "+" expansion buttons to locate this menu item). Click on "NVTweak" in the menu. Next, right-click on the empty space inside right window and choose "New>DWORD value". Name the value "Coolbits" (without the quotes).

Step 2. Within the Registry Editor, right click on Coolbits and choose Modify. Change the Value data to "18" (without the quotes) and click OK. Exit the Registry Editor.

And here is a photo of coolbits:

Oh, and before the mom of one of these kid's gets on here bitching, whining, moaning and complaining, I may as well go ahead and say, use at your own risk. If you fuck your gpu up that's your own fault, I'm just providing you with a little bit of knowledge, in other words, DON'T OVER-OVERCLOCK YOUR GRAPHICS CARD. That make sense?
