Default Making & Adding A Custom Spray

By KenshinAMV

Ok.. Everone's been asking me in servers "omg that spray is so cool how do I get mine to do that?", and other similar questions.... They always ask me to tell them right in the server, but its too complicated just to tell someone while your playing...

So after someone on this forum asked I decided to make a tutorial on how to do it... I'm trying to make this as n00b proof as possible

----------------------------
MATERIALS
----------------------------
- Custom-Strike
- An Image Editor/Designer (photoshop, paintshop, MS Paint works too)

----------------------------
PROCEDURES
----------------------------
- Click Me <-- Link To Custom-Strike Decal Converter
- Install Custom-Strike
- You can set the CS Directory to C:/docs and settings/username/desktop
- Run Custom-Strike
- Go to 'File --> Open'
- Chose a .bmp, .jpg, or .gif (non-animated) that you want the spray to be
- For Example I'll use this

- Ok So I've chosen a crappy image for my spray....
- By default it should go to the max size spray within scale...
- Then just go to 'Decal --> Make Decal'
- Now go to your desktop
- There should be a "pldecal.wad" file there
- Rename it to "tempdecal.wad"
- Now place it in C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\username\counter-strike\cstrike
- Right click it and chose type as 'Read Only'
- If you don't, everytime you open the CS options it will delete the spray D:

Now you should be able to go into game and press 'T' or w/e key you have binded to spray and you should get your own custom image/spray (^_^)

Any Questions = Just PM Me
