How do i get player X coord address?

How fo i get address now?

D2Client = 0x6FAB0000
I tried $Address = 0x6FAB0000 + 0x3F6C0 which gets 6FAEF6C0. But when read 6FAEF6C0 I getsome other value.
What i did wrong in finding address? How do I get address for x pos?
I don't wan't code. I just want hints/tips/ideas. If you have to post code, keep it minimal.
