On the internet I will - in no shape or form - take personal offence to peoples comments, idea's or views, I assume the people who I reply to won't either.
The member will get a message stating their ban reason, they will no longer be allowed to view the forum with their account, and any consequent attempts to create a new account in order to view the forum or post on the forum will result in a separate ban for "ban evasion," which will dig that member into a deeper hole...
The proper procedure for a ban removal is by responding to the situation in good faith and following proper procedure. As the forum rules state, a banned member must email siteadmin@uc-forum.com, explain the situation, and ask for permission to be unbanned. The ban will be reviewed and an admin will respond to the banned member via email.
but i thought that a ban results when you aquire 20 points.. and dont points expire? that would mean that all you have to do is wait for the points to expire to be unbanned.. or are you talking about a permanent ban..?

Bans can be done vai Mod/Admin CP, these only expire when/ if a time limit has been placed.
Infraction points do expire ( Sometimes ) and you'll get unbanned.
Depened on how you were banned.

A regular ban is via the 20 point system. There is an instant 20 point ban option for the timed ban you mentioned, but that's not the only solution.
A user can also be banned permanently through the system. If they try to rejoin, they will be added to the miserable user group and be forever unable to use the website.

When you get banned you are revoked all forum viewing priveleges, and pm's but you can view a special forum in which you can only talk to me.

The monitor will then overheat and every other pixel will turn black so they can't see the site if they try to use a second hard drive. Immediately following that the police are notified that they have broken the rules, which usually leads to a three to five year prison sentence.
The best way to avoid all of this is to just obey the few and simple rules that are enforced here.
Making a new account wont get you unbanned, people can instantly recognize the faggatory reaking off you for the reason you were banned the first time. You cannot change who you are.
