yes i agree a contest would be good but in all honestly the amount of hours i have spent playing that game are extremely slim so if you have any ideas for a contest post them
How do you get a regular flow of traffic on a server? I know when i used to play CSS i used to only have two servers i ever played on but i guess having some form of event or competition could kickstart activity on the server and then try and keep it flowing from there.
Well there's 3 things that guarantee traffic on a server which is..
1. Ranked server
2. Server side mods (Depends on what kind of mods are they, if there those basic tweak edits, i doubt you'll get the most)
3. Ranked custom game mode such as Knife only, Knife and pistol, Knife, pistol sniper.
I used to run a modded server on the bf2 demo and got 10 players within 4 hours after starting, They really liked it so i ran it on a Mac Pro and left it on 24/7 since its very quiet. Might i add that it can MAX MAX only hold about 11 players with my connection
Edit: As all ways, Active admins is something else they look for.

Also, I will make a few idlers ( i have my methods ) so the server's round is started, and ppl will actually join.
Nobody will join a server when the round hasn't started yet
EDIT: Fail: The server uses an older version than the one you are using.

I know a way how to join a server with multiple accounts on 1 pc with only 1 serial key interested? let me test it first on the UC server, and if it works, I will tell y'all!
The game server provider is retarded. I'm working on updating it now because they fail to meet the deadline of doing it themselves. We had the option to downgrade to 1.41 so i assumed it was updated already like they said it would of been by this date..
