EVERYONE VOTE FOR TF2! IT IS THE ONLY TEAM-BASED, HEAVILY MODDED, MANY MAPPED, POTENTIAL-FOR-FUN GAME LISTED!
Got the gun game mods, the skill mods, the weapon mods, surfing, etc.
An entirely team based, and mic allowed, mutliplayer game (with optional all talk)
Potential for fun, such as:
Man hunt: 23 Engineers on one team, 1 spy on the other team. 23 Engineers build 1 level 1 sentry and 1 level 3 dispenser, each. The game begins. The spy must kill the engineers to win. When an engineer dies, he changes team and becomes a spy. Eventually, it is 23 spies vs. 1 engineer. Very fun.
Hide and Seek: 23 cloak and dagger spies, 1 pyro. Spies find a part of the map to sit and hide, while the pyro tries to find all the spies. When a spy is found, he either goes to spec or becomes a pyro (depends on how you play).
And such.
Always fun maps to download.
AND! The game only costs $10-$20, and server hosting is around that price.

ive been playing BF games since i was 18 so 4 years now, ive now moved onto cod series, but TF2 is very close me i used to run server (surf) i had all nice mods and hlstats there as well, and in tf2 u cant really "own" so it would be fair teamplaying, but i still gave my vote to CODWAW
I think BF2 or AA would be fun to have a server on, but my vote went to BF2.
Never played TF2 but I will go buy it if we get a server. Also since Skapocalypse is so adamant
