First Attempt to Making a D3D9

I have not seen any tutorials on how to make Combat Arms hacks but yea ..
I tried myself to make them and I just need this one thing ..

How do you chose witch game to hook this with ?
Like ehm ..
Because if you make a D3D without any game specified it will do nothing right ?
How do I make it .. Inject into Combat Arms ?

I don't know if its clear ..

If your using the starter kit just inject it. It depends on what you are doing whether or not the d3d hook will work in multiple games.

I'm using Azorbix StarterKit.
For game Combat Arms.

Eww... not a game you should have started with in my opinion, its a little more complicated then just injecting a quick compile of the starterkit d3d9.dll. For combat arms you will need to rewrite a vtable hook, Strife has an example source here.
Then you will need to add a bypass (for HackShield ) to your d3dhack so you can at least test it, if not Combat Arms will keep throwing an error and wont even start.If you are still determine go for it man there is plenty of info on the net on how to write a vtable hook and bypass combat arms. I looked at the page suggested ..
That has only been tested on 3 games (and my game ain't one of em).
And only on Windows Xp.

I want to make a D3D for Combat Arms.
I am using Vista .
Azo's Starterkit ..
VS2008

I have been trying to find some tutorials for Combat Arms only but I have no luck so far and I was kinda hoping if someone could give me a link to get me started like just a small Chams Hack.
If I get that working ..
I will be happy to know that I at could make one.
Anything is much appreciated.

Four counting CA. I have successfully made a d3d hack for CA pic and one of my first hooks for CA was written using strifes source as a refrence.I can assure you this source is a good starting point to learn from on how to hook d3d by vtable. There is no need to hook every single d3d function just to get chams to work.

I already made several War Rock D3D Hooks.
So I ain't that new with d3ds.
I don't know all ..

Using the starter kit wouldn't count as experience in my opinion, of course its good for learning etc, but to do combat arms it takes a bit more knowledge. If you don't understand what he said, I wouldn't try combat arms

how would you go about finding the d3d device pointer that a game holds in its memory? because if you cant find that, i understand that you can find it by creating a window with reference to the game window and create a device from that?
