I've wondered about this numerous times, and I would really love to know the answer. I'm sure many of the knowledgeable people here can help me.
I would like to know what kind of personal data would the compiler embed into the produced executable, if any. Does it release an executable with any kind of information that can potentially lead back to you? Even the working directory of your project or whatnot. Anything at all.
Does anyone know anything on the matter? Thanks in advance.
At times depending on your config it will show the working dir in a decompiler. something to do with that *.pdb extention.

In .Net projects only the assembly info (file version, program name, user name, company etc) and the full paths to any pdb files being used will be put into the executable.
