I have written a comment up top.<br />

I understand the structures of the c language.<br />
<br />
Now somehow I have to make these structures in visual studio by looking at the disassemble.  I can find the structures by using the method of <b><a href="http://www.uc-forum.com/forum/members/wieter20.html" target="_blank"><b><font color="#000000">Wieter20</font></b></a></b>. Is there someone on this board that can show me an example of how to put a class together in visual studio 2010?<br />

I have a very good understanding of the header layout and source code of the quake 3 sdk. I understand the default calling convention of c++ which is _cdecl. I know how to follow the arguments of the functions and step into the function to see the prolog and epilog of that particular function.<br />

I know I am so close to understanding this. I just need a visual of a structure being built. Then I will be on my merry way. Is there anyone on this board that can help me over skype, yahoo, teamviewer, vnc, windows remote, msn, or just playing old posting on this board?<br />

Recently I've been learning a LOT of hacking stuff and my latest obstacle has been trying to code an aimbot. It currently uses GetTagPos function to get the position of whatever bone for each player, then aims accordingly. What I have noticed, however is that sometime the aimbot seems to crash the game. This can happen anywhere from the second I enable the aimbot, to after 2 or 3 games.<br />
I remember reading a while back that this problem is caused by calling GTP at the same time as the engine, from another thread.<br />
Now that's all well and good, but I'm not really sure how to prevent this problem from occurring. I have had an idea of detouring the GetTagPos call, and maybe putting some kind of if statement in there so it can't be called while it's being called (inb4 xzibit image :D) - returning to the original if its safe to call, and if not, then don't.<br />
<br />
Would this be a viable option, or is there a better method I could do?<br />

i've seen allot of people asking how do i find this how do i find that?<br />
well the quick answer is; SDK<br />
<br />
i wont be handing you the links since a lil self work doesnt harm you but go ahead and download the Quake 3 SDK.<br />
<br />
After you've done that go and download Ida Pro + hex rays somewere<br />
<br />
when done downloading and installing open up Ida and hit 'Go work on your own' or something like that.<br />
<br />
Following u gotta do is explained using screenshots;<br />
<br />
Opening Iw4mp.exe in Ida;<br />
<br />

Haveing done that, browse to the iw4mp.exe no need to explain how, else you shouldnt even be trying this.<br />

Now when it is opened, u'll have to wait some time for it to be fully loaded, u'll know when its done if you get such a screen;<br />

now what you're gonna do next is;<br />

Go to: File -&gt; Produce File -&gt; 'Create C File'<br />
<br />
go ahead and click that, u will be presented with a pop up on where to save the c file, choose a good place for it where its easy to acces, you'll be needing it.<br />
(DONT CLOSE IDA)<br />

That was the easy part!<br />
<br />
Now comes the somewhat harder part.<br />
<br />
Go to the folder where u installed the SDK and do as following -&gt; Go into -&gt; Source -&gt; Code -&gt; CGame -&gt; and then open up 'cgame.dsp'<br />
u will need vc++ 6 or higher to open it.<br />

now thats opened open up another copy of visual studio (BLANK)<br />
and go ahead and do -&gt; file -&gt; open -&gt; browse to the C File it created being called 'iw4mp.c'<br />

ok, now go ahead and go in the SDK and go into ;<br />
cg_main.c (Its under the map Source Files in visual studio)<br />
now go ahead and search for &quot;CG_Init&quot;<br />
keep on hitting next untill u find the function itsself<br />

Now that u know that CG_Init hold some structures here comes the big question;<br />

well thats easy my son, just simple open up ollydbg click -&gt; file -&gt; open -&gt; and browse to the iw4mp.exe<br />

now right click -&gt; search for -&gt; All referenced text strings<br />
<br />
