Open BNET PVP Auradin?

I've seen them around before, but I can't figure out how to make it work. Usually the person is a level 9 Pally and his auras do absolute sick damage. I have the Urnamehere clone that tends to be unstoppable against most opponents and auradins drop her like nothing.

So I've been trying to make an Auradin of my own but am not sure how to go about doing it. I know the "legit" Auradins used several runewords to have multiple auras stacking at the same time. What I'm confused about is how to make the auras deal such an insane amount of damage.

I was thinking, perhaps lowering your %damage until your aura starts dealing negative damage is the way they do it. My theory behind this is if you "absorb" negative damage, it should actually hurt you instead of heal you. And most builds tend to rely on lots of damage resist/absorption.

Has anyone ever made a hacked Auradin before, and if they have, am I on the right track with the negative damage idea?

a sorceress is the way to go to make an aurakiller since they have passive masterys.

well you make an item, lets say a shield. you then make your shield socketed. then make your shield unique, this allows it to attain more sockets. now add the magic attribute under extra "increase max sockets". now the max number of jewels allowed in any item is 7 so you wont want to put more than 7 in there. now make some jewels with a level 31 aura and elemental mastery and pierce of the element you will be using. putting absorb and res on the jewel is a good idea as well. now put 7 of these jewels into the shield. now use the shields magic attributes to add another aura and more pierce/mastery and resists/absorb. repeat this process for armor weapons rings and amulets, they can all reach 7 sockets except for maybe your amulet which can still get at least 4. also 40 charms with a level 31 aura ~ a level 1200+ aura then the items add more auras and all of your auras stacking add MASSIVE ammounts of damage. hope this helps

ps: i dont think you can make aura damage negative as even a level 1 aura does positive damage

Just about anything is allowed in open Bnet. That's the whole point of having it, as a sort of "safe haven" for all the people who want to hack and mod in order to try and deter them from hacking on the closed realms.

Thanks for the tips xheatstroke. I knew different auras would stack, but I didn't know two level 31 iterations of the same aura in that manner would stack and become as powerful as a 62. That has to be the way they're doing it.

Also, it is quite possible to deal negative damage. Simply add the "+coldskill damage" magical trait to a charm, only instead of positive, make it a negative number. I forget how much -% you can use on a single item. Then you put a bunch of those charms in your inventory until your auras start doing negative damage.

That's how people walk/run/block/hit extremely fast. What you do is you put all the "+hit/run/block/etc. speed" traits on a charm, but you set them all to -20% (the max '-' you can put on the trait). Then you put enough charms with these negatives into your inventory until you reach -180%. There are other percentages you can use, I've found -180 to be one of the better ones though, more reliable than the -200's.

Basically once your speed gets reduced to a certain point the game glitches up the number and you end up moving insanely fast instead of insanely slow. This is why you need to be careful what percentages you use - you could end up moving faster than the game's refresh rate and you'll end up "warping" all over the place uncontrollably.

Also keep in mind if you're going to wield a weapon you need to take into account the weapon's attack speed, and if you're a barbarian you need to take into account his "run/walk speed" mastery. Although most people use "smite" anyway, which isn't affected by the shield's speed at all.
