Ip banned?

I got my cdkey banned and i dont even know exactly what from. but now ive tried my second cdkey and it doesnt work also. Ive downloaded this list of like hundreds of cdkeys and everyone that ive tried doesnt work. So is it possible to get like a ip ban or something from blizzard. Or maybe a hardware ban like you can get from punkbuster? should i go out and buy a new cdkey cause i dont wana waste 20$ and then not have it work. Plus i dont understand why my second cdkey is banned. the wierdest thing is my friend can go on the cdkey on his computer at his house and play perfectly fine. So the cdkey isnt banned but when i try it it says it is. What should i do?

B.Net can IP, account, and cd-key ban you. Please post the error message and I will let you know which one it is.

well it just says the account has been closed. So i try a different account and it says that the cdkey is banned from using it on realm games, and i can still play on openbnet or singleplayer. I think i got ip banned though because my friend can play on the same ip that when i try it says this cdkey is banned. So is their anyway i can continue to play diablo at all if i have a ip ban?

let me get this right , you havent TRIED Making a NEW account.

Its obvious you WILL NOT be using the same accounts

Lets clarify.

Your friend has a different IP , only your connection (PC) has your ip.

2) Open bnet has no enforcement at all , so it makes sense that you can play there
3) singleplayer has nothing to do with being banned.

Your solution is to REINSTALL COMPLETELY under a NEW CDKEY , IN WHICH YOU BUY FROM A STORE (REBUY THE GAME) NOT FROM A SITE OR ANY KIND OF GENERATOR AS IT WILL DO NO GOOD.

Then you MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT COMPLETELY , and play.

OK, to sum up: you got caught hacking. They killed your account and your cdkey is banned. you are NOT Ip banned. it could be a permanent cdkey ban or a 1-month ban. mine was one month and account killed. buy d2 again and make a new account or wait a month and see if it is possibly only one month.

like i said: dont be stupid and hack in d2.

no ip ban, by the game get a real paid for cd-key instaed of trying all these bogus(warez) keys which never work and you`ll have no problems. one more thing if you know how to change the keys in the registry you won`t need to re-install the whole game. If you don`t know what im talking about, seek help, SERIOUS HELP, tty come again

well i wasnt only trying the one cdkey its just i thought i might be ip banned because i have 2 cdkeys and on my second one, my friend is able to go on his account with that cdkey but i cant do anyhting with it. So thats why i was wondering. If i was ip banned would it say i was ip banned? or would it still just say cdkey

also can i still use my diablo2 cdkey while installing or do i need a different one of those

You need a complete new set of keys, and iif you wre ip banned , no it wouldn`t say shit, you would just never connetc, but when they do an ip ban they also ban all accounts tied to the key the ip ban was issued for. get a complete new set of keys and you should be good. If you think you have an ip ban, call your isp and request a new ip.

so i take it you have one of thos battle packs with ROC and FTF or w/e and then you got cought and then it bans both of your CD kets since there in the same pack =/
