Diablo 2

Hi guys I just bought Diablo 2 for the second time and when i install it and try to run it, the game just goes to a black screen, i have the latest direct x drivers, and a good video card, and a legit came, this is the second time diablo 2 has done this, and the second copy i have purchased :/ and i have reformated pc many times and tried it on 2 machines i get the same out come, has anyone else has this problem, if so how did you fix it.

This is just a geuss... but wouldn't this make more sense in the Diablo II forum? Maybe the technical support forum IF their is one? But here?...no.

Then its obviously your CD. Go back, get a refund and buy a new one. But if u ask me.... fuck blizzard. Get something cooler, like thief 3 or something. Or save for a ps3 or xbox 360. There are much better things than diablo 2

Well this forum does say OFF TOPIC thats why I post in here XD
Anyway as for the problem I have solved it, I have realised that this game does not supoort any new 3D gfx cards, as this game is Quite old If you run the 3d test you can select the following: Software mode or 3D Acellerated but you will have to choose software mode to avoid that nasty black screen of death, then the game will run in software mode. PROBLEM solved.

Puffy is right, you need to take this up with the Diablo 2 tech support forum. I reccomend checking with tech support first, then return you Game, if this does not work.
