Well... Im bored again, so here goes.

xShrimp's Smiter Build

Skills
+20 Smite
+20 Fanatism
+20 Holy Shield
+20 Defiance
+05 Salvation
+06 Prerequisite

Smite: Duh! Its your main attack.
Fanatism: Attack Rate, Attack Rating, Increased Attack Speed, Damage. Some people ask you not Concentrate, pff!
Holy Shield: Increase Defense and Smite Damage
Defiance : Synergy to Holy Shield
Salvation : Boost your resistance (use only when someone else has a higher Fanatism)

These and be achieved very easily, so after that you can decide what to use the rest on.

Attributes
Strength : 108
Dexterity : 30
Vitality : As much as you can
Energy : None

Strength : Put up to 108 to wear Mage Plate Engima, when you die you still can wear Enigma which gives you the strength boost to also wear Exile and Grief.
Dexterity : Put to 30 because you need some dex to use Grief or Doom or Astreon's Iron Wand, but nyou need Raven Frost or Dex charms to boost it up higher to where these.
Vitality : You need to live!
Energy : You got leech.

This kind of Paladin is very strong, word has it that it is probably the only build that can take on Uber Tristram alone. Have Fun!

you should swap the arach for a Verdungo's, the only good mod for smiter on the arach is +1 skills, on dungoes you get, 10%FHR, 30-40 vitality and 10%-15% damage reduction.
The vitality means an extra 90- 120 life. All the other mods on arach are pointless.

I dont know what mods you can get with crafted gloves but i know you cant leech with smite so a better pair in my opinion would be Dracul's grasp for the 5% chance to cast lvl 10 life tap, coupled with exile thats 20% chance per hit.

You also max holy shield and invest little into dex, i havent ever played a Smier before, but with holy shield it requires less dex than usual for you to max block, so id suggest max block.

whats so great about fortitude... i see the 300 inhanced damage but when i put it on my smite damage doesnt get any higher ( maybe it doesnt show i dont know )
and i would like to know if grief is really worth getting and y.

Hmm i dont know about the fortitude thing maybe they changed it as a ballance issue, if it dosen't work consider a coh, its still better than an enigma on a smiter. But i can tell you why grief phaseblade is the best pally weapon.
If you look at the completed runeword you will notice this mod +340 - +400 damage this damage works differently because unlike enhanced damage that adds too the weapons damage this is invisible damage that adds to your base damage. So it adds 340-400 damage to your base damage before its multiplied by smite. It adds about 1500 extra damage in the end to smite.
