anti virus

my norton anti virus program keeps telling me that Wambot is infected with a trojan virus, how can i stop this, every time i go to use it,,Norton detects it and deletes it. does this Program use anything that would give Norton and faulse read on a Trojan virus?
I have used it for a long time with no problems and now this has just started,

That has been a talked of subject in the past. Due to the fact that Wambot is packed (for security purposes) it is detected as a false positive (if that makes sense). You can add it to Norton's exclusion list so it doesn't scan the file. That should solve your problem\s.

Ok i also have noton anti virus this is what you do disable Auto Protect, Personal Fire Wall, Intrusion prevention, and Spyware Protection then download the file then there sould say norton detected wambot as a virus bla bla bla press ctrl+alt+del and kill the window etc etc always turn of your anti-virus before using wambot again hope it works for u

That's a lot of crap just to download two small ass files. I think the problem is Norton. BIG Memory hog. Use AVG.

That or use NOD32 or Kaspersky!

Yea, I think I gave NOD32 a try to see what it was all about. I actually liked it with all the options it gives. It was a nice program but it was just too much for me to control.
